R.I.P. John Hughes - Director
John Hughes directed some of the movies I loved most when I was growing up. The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles and many more before moving onto some of my favourite movies as an adult, including Planes, Trains and Automobiles. 59 is a young age to die nowadays and even though he hadn't directed anything in some time, I always hoped he'd come back for one last hurrah.
Rest In Peace, John, You will be remembered.

Bummer. Great movies. Uncle Buck is one of my wife and my favorite movies of all time. As are the other movies you've mentioned.
