Would it make my life better? Probably not... but certainly not worse.
Would it make me happier? I'm not really sure. I'm actually very content with my life now, and while sure there's a lot of expensive stuff I'd love to have and I'm sure I would enjoy I don't know that it would make me "happier". I bought a Cadillac a few months ago to serve as my daily driver in place of my 1996 Jeep... While I very much enjoy it, and am glad I bought it I wouldn't say I'm a happier person because of it... just makes me a little more comfortable.
Another point is that how you get the $. I think that working your way up to being insanely wealthy would be much better than having a sudden windfall. You don't ever hear about Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet being suicidal, going into massive debt, etc. You appreciate things you worked for.
