WOW! the music yes..nate king cole version..But Stanley Jordan its the 1st time..WOW he's good..he's very good!!!
Actually i was watching this version of the "Teardrop".. with this musician that i didn't also know.. YouTube - Newton Faulkner teardrops live (Massive Attack cover)
But nothing comparing to Stanley
One of my favourites guitar players, for example (electric) its Tom Morello..

There are impressive clips of Stanley Jordan on Youtube. He's a master of the guitar. His style/sound is good for me in low doses since it is so distinct.
I know what you mean about "how did I not know of [this} guitarist before??".
Just last week I learned of Rory Gallagher, the Irish blues player. I've been amazed and craving more ever since. Wow.

There are so many really great players out there that don't really get a lot of exposure. I seem to remember a lot of people talking about Stanley Jordan in the late 80s, then it just kind of fell off. Might be because he had a cameo in the movie Blind Date.
