Wow that was tough to read Mark, I can't imagine how tough it was go see your girl go through that. I'm so glad to read that she's already acting like a kid again. Good job keeping a cool head.

Mark, I'm really glad to read all will be well. I can imagine the horror, shock, and endless guilt all too well, having a daughter myself. You've always sounded like such a good Dad, so I hope you don't beat yourself up too much over it. Sh1t happens sometimes, no matter how careful or thorough you are. And I do agree, being a parent can be such a rollercoaster ride! One day elated, another mad as hell, etc. I gothrough these everyday it seems:

Thanked: 586Hey Mark,
Thanks for sharing that story. Having raised two girls for eleven years I know the emotions you probably went through. While you may carry memories of pain around the rest of your life, your daughter will only remember the love and kindness.

Mark,
Thanks for sharing that. I only realized after you said she was doing better that I had been reading as fast as I could while holding my breath.
As a father of a daughter, I can only imagine.....
That's one tough little girl.

Thanked: 586Whenever I see a kid fall, I have a habit of saying, "That's why they make them close to the ground". I can only imagine how long I would be F'd up if I fell from and was dragged by a moving car. Kids are tougher than this old man.
