Yes. Be wary RAD, SAD, HAD, SBAD, SSAD etc acquisition disorders . Those susceptible can contract them from reading SRP any length of time. [thus ends the joke]
Please see if the razor was stropped prior shipping. If it was, you might want to shave with it prior to stropping - you will know you have a sharp blade, thus eliminating one of the variables in comfortable shave. Also you will have reference to compare whether your stropping is effective.

Yeah...and damn them with all their advice on saving money. Such a waste, I know.
If it were me, I'd get one from the classifieds here. There's only a few that are HIV infected here and selling. Most of the people with over 10000 posts and in their message. There are some other rampant diseases that can be contracted through the purchase of a straight via the classifieds...but we can't talk about those. They're called Classifieds for a reason. A reason, I've yet to figure out.
I use coupon code OICU812 and FREE a lot. They never work but it's fun to type them in.
On another note, this thing here is cool: Why are they spanking the borse? bull/horse/anteater. I need to report this to PETA.
And Al Sharpton.
But, you should get yourself a lot of samples. Most of my stock is made up of samples. They're cheap and easy, just like my ex, err....
Samples are great. Not sure what all you were looking to get from Classic Shaving, but if creams and such were on your list, look into samples. And, since you will probably get deathly ill using something from here, may you also try looking around in local antique shops in your area.
Take with you the list of what NOT to buy.

Awshum
Thanks, for the advice.
I just revisited the item description of the razor I ordered. It doesn't clarify between whether it's been honed, stropped or both. It just states that it's "pre-sharpened". When I see "pre-sharpened" I'm left wondering if they mean it's been honed only or both honed and stropped. I know some come labeled as "Shave Ready", but the one I purchased did not say that. So I'm wondering if it's the same thing. I'm still getting used to the lingo.
Regardless...it's just an e-mail away. I'll ask them if "Pre-Sharpened" is the same as "Shave Ready".Last edited by YMS1975; 09-22-2009 at 05:01 AM.
