We call them garage sales here.My wife scored some sweet deals to.For instance: a mint ball end tech with clothing brush a tobe of barbasol cream comb and nail file It was all part of a kit for 50 cents, also a flawless gillett slim adjustable for 25 cents. The lady even tried to give her the quarter back.I was a very happy hubby.

We call them yard/garage sales depending on if there is a garage involved or not, and I've never found anything worth anything (wetshaving specific) at any of them

We call them "Temporary Grass Malls" here.
Actually, I'm kidding. I just made that up. Yard Sales or Garage Sales.

Unfortunately we don't really have such custom around here, or at least I haven't see it happen. Maybe I would call the yard sales if we had. Bah.
"The master throws away perfectly good bones and then hauls off and buys this lot" Your doggie isn't impressed, isn't it?Must be opposable thumb thing.
I congratulate you for making off like a pirate, literally. That compass is a stunner. Razors don't look half bad either.

I am trying to teach Mr. Toes to play it. Basil has no thumbs so he can't grasp the mallets. Mr. Toes does have thumbs but it seems his musical inclination leans more toward woodwinds (especially the alto sax) rather than percussion.Last edited by icedog; 09-21-2009 at 05:01 PM.
