Thanked: 1Non Razor Happiness ....
The days are getting shorter.
Rain comes down often and snow will not take long to arrive.
The happiness when you receive your new coat cannot be described.
Sorry, just had to shout this out.
Thanks,
Hoekie
ps, this online shop was extremely fast and provides good aftersales help.

Thanked: 1I hate winter, its just starting to get fall here and I'm already ready for spring. I just got my new, old bike out of the shop, and it's been raining ever since.
On that note, I'm shopping for a warm riding coat now.

Thanked: 1They have all styles .....
Have a look at www.drizabone.com
From polarjackets to riding coats, and not that expensive (compared to Europe at least).
Fjallraven is quite good as well, but costs far more.
Good luck and post what you got!

Thanked: 1I'm looking at this one, but with my skinny frame, I need to try it on before ordering.

Thanked: 1For the times I was on that kind of bike I always wore a thick leather jacket ... really can't help you there.
On fitting I know the problem, my torso is missing 6 inches so everything is too long (usually 8 inches on sleeves and length), although chestsize is right.
The coat I bought is short (halfway upperleg), comes down to my knees though.
Luck,
Hoekie

I love winter!
I love winter! Love it, love it, love it! The colder and more snow, the better. Nuthin better than sitting in a bowstand or out in the marsh during a snow storm!

I also love winter, but probably for different reasons...fat men love sweater weather!

Thanked: 1As long as snow is snow, and not carslludge ....
The cracking of snow under your feet, the paws of your cat hastily going back inside, steam coming off your bald head unending views and cursing that you for got you sunglasses again. lol
Am going to try the snowstorm (mild here if lucky, otherwise none :-( ) with the new coat and return it if it doesn't do the job ... nah
What's the weatherforecast?
