Just want to say "Thank you" to Bill Ellis. He has very generously donated a razor to get me started. I received it today and it's a swell looking razor. I'll be sure to follow his example when I'm a straight razor veteran.
First shave was a neat experience. Not too close, but due to my technique, not the razor. It passed the hanging hair test easily. A fine start to a, hopefully, long time hobby of shaving and razor collecting.

Thats great Pappy and Welcome to the Group! Yes these gentlemen here are the best in the buisness. They helped me with my newbie questions and stuff and now I can enjoy this "Art of Shaving".
