My explanation on the "Other" vote: I've seen 9mm get bigger, but I've never ever seen .45 get smaller. With the different frames available in handguns, I don't know why anyone would compromise on handgun ballistics. That being said, whatever you do end up with, PRACTICE! And when you're tired of shooting for the day, run two more mags through it and see if you can still place rounds accurately. Hollywood lies, and shootouts aren't what you see on T.V., not even the "historical re-inactments" the History Channel loves to make.

I will agree (reservedly) with one definite NO! A .25 Automatic. That piece of Crappola is worse than useless! If I had to defend my life and I was given only two choices...a .25 Automatic, or a sharp hatchet, I would take the hatchet ten times out of ten!
I suppose a .25 Automatic would be okay for assassinating mice...maybe.
