If it wasn't for FoxNews, how'd we find out about all the corruption that's going on?

Fox news is not a governmental agency, actually much of it isn't even a news station. In fact, O'Reilly and Beck, Hannity are really entertainers rather than news anchors. So Obama is not really doing anything new, but instead providing some continuity with the previous administration, where attacks on the entertainment industry were even more commonplace.

Before you think I am biased, MSNBC is in the same boat. Just like O'Reilly or Beck, people like Oberman and Maddow are not news anchors but entertainers. Each of them spew out a generous dose of spin and propaganda at various targets. I think its perfectly appropriate for our conservative political leaders to go after MSNBC. But it would be inconsistent if I cheered when conservative political leaders bashed MSNBC, but booed when Obama bashed Fox. No, believe me I am not as wishy washy, flip floppy hypocritical as that.

Other than my own bias I find no problem with either party bashing one news organization or the other. If they wish to bash opinion pieces or "National Enquirer" type papers that is fine with me, but the President is a different story all together whether he be Republican, Democrat, Liberal, Conservative, or Libertarian. I don't believe the Presidents job is to pit one American against the other but rather to bring America together. Is that what Obama is doing? No. I think he is intentionally driving a wedge between us all but I can't really fathom his overall intent in doing such.

Actually I can fathom why he is doing such but would rather not say until it becomes blatantly obvious to all parties.

is it not interesting that the president picks a so called "fight" with FOX , maybe he just trying to distract us from more important things he has on his agenda. kinda reminds us of "BUBBA' bill clinton bombing that aspirin plant when he was having problems with "that woman", miss lewinsky
come one, come all to the greatest show on earth " U.S. politics" watch as grown men and women completely pull(or at least try) the wool over the eyes of the AMEIRCAN citizen and call it good for the country. pay not attention to the man behind the curtain, he is irrelevant my hood winked friends. we will have plenty of spiked kool-aid after the show.......
