Thanked: 0just for men hair coloring
well, i wonder if this product can be used, and the leftover solution stored say for two or three weeks and then used again when the hair is cut? my hair is short, and the application is more than enough if i cut it in half. would it store correctly? do you need to add more hydrogen peroxide? i mean, it is cheap ($7) compared to say getting it done at the salon ($35) so i am not complaining, but i would be more apt to touch it up every 3 weeks when i get my hair cut

Most hair dyeing systems begin to deteriorate immediately so holding on to some for a few weeks might be a very bad idea. Best case scenario, it doesn't work. Worst case scenario, it burns your scalp and turns your hair green (I've seen it happen, hell it happened to me).
Another thing which most men are unaware of is that you should not dye your hair within say a week or two of having it cut. The newly exposed ends of the hairs are more susceptible to the dying and will not only turn a different shade than further down toward the root, but the chemicals can sometimes overly damage your hair giving you premature split ends.
You'll probably get more precise answers from a hair dresser.

Thanked: 0My Dad splits the dye into two applications. He stores the unused portion in some kind of tuperware container that is just big enough for the chemicals. It does not last that long when it is split. Good luck with the dye, but it does look fake on most people that I have seen.

Some time back I used the beard dye. Worked okay but really dried out the skin. Finally decided the gray didn't matter, but then, I'm just an old hippie anyway!

Thanked: 0well, i used the second application last night, and the results: it dont work. seems as though that hydrogen peroxide is the thing that makes it work, and i guess it peters out when the dye is mixed in. wonder if i had added some additional peroxide if that would have helped?

I think I would pass on that if I were you. Nothing like having a head of green or red hair to really stand out in a crowd.
