That's what I was going to say (at 37 years old)! I knew I'd turned the corner when I broke a tooth and had to get a root canal...I thought "oh hell, this is how it's all going to go down!". That made me feel a lot older than becoming a parent (of two amazing little girls)!

I'm 31 but I feel like I'm in my mid 20s, apperently I looked 22 when I was 27. What I have noticed is the inane and pointless drivel that people under ~25 talk and care about: relationship gossip, social networking sites, musical artists, clothing, etc. I never really cared about that stuff anyway but I didn't notice it back then.

Oh, and calling someone "sir" is just polite, not an indication of age. The staff in any public business should refer to you as sir (although here in Australia, you generally get called "mate") irrespective of your age.

Now don't get me wrong guys, its not that I am unable to recognize that these young girls are pretty/attractive. I'm drawn to art and I can certainly recognize god's art when I see it. Unfortunately I just can't seem to feel that warm feeling in my gut over a girl that I couldn't have a conversation with (I know that doesn't sound very manly of me).
