    Default Trivial question

    Question: why do we call it 'round point'? Isn't a point, by definition, not round?
    Shouldn't we call it a round tip or something? Sure, this is merely a terminological thing, but it just struck me as odd

    I think it is just a gographical thing, as opposed to, say the heel of the blade. Terminology for the parts of the razor and all that...

    Since there's a heel on the blade, shouldn't the tip be referred to as the toe?
