This is a response to the original post.

A light hearted interaction with friends or anyone is hardly likely to be draining. Being talked at relentlessly by someone talking about themselves or unburdening about a serious problem can be draining, regardless of your own nature.

I don't think it makes sense to label people. Many extroverts display an open and lively character in public. Yet in private can be shy and retiring. We are all creatures that have varying moods. On the other hand there must be people at both extremes. Nothing wrong with being an introvert.

You don't want a back slapping extrovert buggering about on the moon!
