Thanked: 4I'm currently enjoying yet another pint of fresh Bell's Amber Ale (Kalamazoo Brewery, Michigan) from the keg my sister bought for me. A damned fine real ale that stands up to any I've had. Gotta love a woman who'll supply you with all the great beer (and food) you can stand. I hope the rest of you gentlemen do as well over the holidays.

Thanked: 4942Thanks. It was a great Thanksgiving. Went bird hunting with my son and his newly trained German Shorthair. Got a bunch of Quail, Chuckers and even a hen Pheasant. The boy makes great Quail and Wild Rice. I hope the rest of you had a great time with your families as well. Lynn

Lynn,
Sounds wonderful! I flew to Texas to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. I was on a plane on Thanksgiving day, however during the trip I enjoyed some fine fried catfish and hush puppies, and some incredible Tex-Mex food. Just thinking about it brings back the indigestion!
