Thanked: 1262For Army Medevacs, Hearts And Minds Are No Cliche
A feel good story to bring some temporary light to the darkness of the conversation forum.
Brought to you by the liberal trash at NPR.

I knew that as soon as I read this:
The medevacs, who carry out their duties unarmed, say they don't discriminate in their evacuations. That means they could potentially be treating a member of the Taliban and an American soldier side by side in the small helicopter.
Pshh, doing good to those who h8 you, whoever heard of such a thingLast edited by hoglahoo; 12-01-2009 at 11:12 PM.

Yeah. Reminds me of the M.A.S.H episode where colonel Flag has Hawkeye save the north korean, so that he can take him back to headquarters for " interorgation " Also love the bit when Henry tells Flag that he can,t tell the President what to do and Flag say,s "we,re working on it!"

Being Army, Ive dealt with a lot of "docs" in my day, great people, hearts of gold and are to be highly appreciated and commended, they will go anywhere, under any circumstances to fulfill their calling, and thats exactly what it is, I doff my hat to all of the "docs" past and present.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
