More Very Serious Questions

Since everyone here (including myself) gets their boxers in a wad over political subjects, here is another light hearted interesting question.
By the way, the beef question surprisingly revealed that many people on opposite sides of politics like the same cut of beef cooked the same way.

Ironic, I think not!

The Questions
How do you like your eggs cooked?
Whixh meat do you prefer with eggs?

My answer:
2 eggs Fried in bacon grease over medium.
# strips of bacon that are thick cut so that my goal of a heart attack by 40 is accelerated. ( I am kidding about that, so I don't eat bacon often, but I love it.

I like my eggs fried, over easy. I like the yolks runny, the whites fully cooked. Add to that hash browns, a couple of pieces of thick bacon or ham, and a couple of pieces of toast, plus a large glass of ice-cold milk and you have the perfect breakfast.:)

Those stupid liberals probably like their eggs sunny side up with bacon.

i like my "aigs" over easy or sunny side up cooked in lard or bacon grease. i want about 5 slices of thick hickory smoked bacon or a nice slab of country ham, fried taters with a little onion and red pepper to flavor. 2 "martha white" biscuits and some good white milk gravy with sausage(preferably "george jones" hot sausage) a large glass of milk and get out of my way

Over medium with ham and toast to mop up the "slop".

Scrambled with pepper bacon.

Add hash browns with onions and green chilies, some toast and we call that fine dining around here!

3 over easy, bacon, taters n gravy, whole wheat bread or toast to push it around on the plate and sop up the remnants. Every morning. Cholesterol and blood pressure are great at age 50, thank you.

I prefer my eggs to be liberally scrambled on the left side of the skillet...:)

Eggs over easy. Bacon a little chewy. Well done white toast for dipping. OJ. Coffee.

I like my eggs unprocessed and as fresh as possible. And black and laid by sturgeon too. Wash it down with carbon dioxide bubbles produced by secondary fermentation of unripened chardonnay grapes from the part of france closer to the belgium and germany.


You guys should also consider using c-string in leu of boxers.

I prefer my eggs fresh from the chicken scrambled, Bacon, Home fries and hot coffee.

you mean you actually eat those things? seriously, i have never really talked to anyone who admits they really eat those and like them...more of a status symbol...could you compare them to something as for the taste? never had the opportunity to partake of such a delicacy or really know if i could anyway

Eggs fried in a cast iron skillet sunny side up until the whites are white. Then, pour in a liberal amount of cream to finish cooking them to medium (semi-runny yolks). Pour the warm cream over toast and put an egg on each slice of toast pouring any remaining cream over the top. Season with salt and fresh coarse ground pepper. My family has always called them "creamed eggs" and my late grandfather of 100% German descent would make them for us. Pork sausage compliments nicely.

absolutely, love it. it has very mild taste, so i'd be surprised if many people don't like the taste. The taste is rich, from all the good fat, and slightly sweet. I don't think it's an acquired taste because i liked it the very first time i had it, which was somewhere between age 6 and 8.
Try it if you get a chance, it's good, the fresher the better.

ok, next time i am over your house. i will try them...don't know anyone over here that has them...maybe donald trump might have a few....

For me it depends on what I'm having with them.

I love scrambled eggs on buttered brown toast with smoked salmon.

I also like steak with a fried egg on top..! Fried eggs need to have solid whites but the yolk still runny.

As part of a fry up I'll have fried eggs with crispy bacon, mushrooms, sausage, black pudding and toast. I might have some beans on there as well! Basically, its a coronary on a plate..!

Two eggs over medium, cooked in extra virgin olive oil served with a slice of country ham.

I have one egg over easy sautéed in butter with the yolk runny and sopped up with a bagel toasted and topped with a teaspoon of olive oil. This is the recommended breakfast of the ACLU. :D

I like my eggs scrambled with norwegian smoked or digged salmon or "spekeskinke" (it is something a bit like Parma ham)

Soft boiled in the shell for the best tasting egg, the next best being poached. Whites set, of course, yolks at a slow run. Buttered toast or an english muffin is a must. Fried potatoes ala American fries is a plus. Bacon, ham, or steak, even a juicy hamburger patty, is a nice option, but not essential. Some salt, some freshly ground pepper, maybe some hot sauce, and this is breakfast heaven.

2 eggs, sunny side up, with lots of bacon. The bacon should be around1/4" thick, and fried to the point just between bending and breaking.
Add baked potatoes for bonus points.

Whenever I stay in a hotel, I check if they have bacon at the breakfast buffet. If they do, then that's what I'll be having for as long as I stay: 2 or 3 plates with bacon, some egg, and one or two bread rolls.

I also like soft boiled eggs. The yolk has to stay runny. I then pour some salt on it, stir the salt in the yolk, and eat it quickly enough that it stays warm.

Over medium with steak and sourdough wheat toast along with it plus to mop up the yoke. Second choice on the meat would be thick meaty non crispy bacon.

Okay, so my wife thinks this is totally gross, but I like to eat scrambled eggs on top of a peanut butter-slathered, toasted english muffin. Yum!

o00o hard question...

But here it goes....

Mode #1 sunny side up until the yoke is firm.

Mode #2 scrambled after whipping the eggs until they're frothy.(makes really light fluffy eggs)

Mode #3 whipped scrambled and poured over sourdough bread that I have toasting in the pan.

And not those ping pong balls the Super market sells. I like those big jumbo brown eggs from the farmer's Market that you only need one of instead of 3 or 4 ping pongs. I mean cm'on!:soapbox:

I like regular breakfast sausage, not the maple or brown sugar kind, spicy is ok once in a while but I like plain good ol' fashion breakfast sausage.

All above is done in a cast iron skillet with butter thrown on the hot iron right before pouring in the eggs.

I'm quite fond of a BEC or a BES, but if I'm making eggs at home I usually go with scrambled on toast.

Anyone trying to eat any cooked egg not scrambled esp those runny yellow ketchup adding bastards will get what they deserve.

hard boiled dont bother me but i prefer not to eat one. runny egg people, from my pov, simply cannot be trusted. These folks will be the first ones to suck your brain from the skull or thrive on soylent green
