I have yet to locate the complete collection. All I've seen are the DVD's with a few episodes on them in the $5 bin at Wal-ly World. If you see the definitive boxed set, please share the info!

Benny Hill, same deal. I have a 3 disc set, the "Best of Benny Hill", but it has only a couple dozen shorts on it at best. Would like to buy the whole enchilada from Benny too.

Thanked: 17Stooges....
Soitenly! The stooges are usually just a "guy thing" - most women just don't get them! Once a year, there is a 'Three Stooges Marathon" on TV ...hafta watch for it! They show every show one after the other for a coupla days.
I works with a Stooges nut. he may have taped the whole series of shows, I will ask him for you, Lynn. If he did, I will see if he will copy them for me, and I will send them to you.
Slapstick with razors?? Nyuk, Nyuk!!

My dad used to take me to a local pizza place that had an arcade and a giant theater screen where you could eat pizza and watch the films.
Looney Tunes and Three Stooges were always on the menu, and I've always enjoyed watching both since then
I've got 6 hours' worth on VHS somewhere, and a couple of DVDs too

The Stooges are a timeless favorite. The three of us enjoy a stooge marathon a couple of times a year. May be time for another soon. Hope there's a marathon on TV soon. I'll fill the Tivo!

Here the stooges are pretty much unseen.
How do the stooges compare to for example Marx brothers? Better/worse?

Thanked: 259i agree with all on the "stooges" they are the greatest comedy team of all. i too love curly, shemp was trying to fill big shoes when he came onboard, curly joe was probably my lease favorite...but all in all i love all the stooges.
is it not great what can be done with comedy, this stuff has lasted for ages and it is still just a funny. i know most of us have seen them all at least 10 or 20 time and it is still funny...
true shame that todays comedy people have to use such vulgarity so as to prevent our children from enjoying them for a lifetime also..
to all my fellow stooge fans:

Slowly I turned ....
The best of the DVDs available are the Three Stooges Collection in chronological order. They are pricey but are remastered well and the real deal. You get what you pay for type of thing. Here are some of both the good and the lesser on Amazon.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
