    Unhappy My Mom Died

When it rains it pours. My mom lost her battle with cancer yesterday which happened to be my birthday and the day I got out of the hospital. We are off to Los Angeles and just wanted to ask for your prayers.

    Thanks!

    Steven

I'm sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. Just try to remember she's in a better place. I know words don't mean much at a time like this.

If we, individually, never experienced the contributions of a loving set of parents, we wouldn't feel much pain when they leave us. On the other hand, losing a family member so very close to us is always devastating.

I believe those two observasions are directly proportional to one another for the connection we have for all of those around us. The more pain we feel with such a loss just means that there was an equal amount of love we shared with them before they left us.

Take solace in the pain and cherish the memory of all that love you were fortunate to experience with your mom to begin with.
May your mom be in a better place...

Words never seem sufficient under these circumstances, so I'm just going to say that my prayers are with you. We'll be here for you when you get back.
