I'm not surprised to hear of such an act of hatred. I am however surprised and extremely disappointed to hear that it happened in Fairfield, Connecticut. Certainly folks in Fairfield County harbor their share of hatred they are just not so rude as to show it. Leonard Bernstein lived in Fairfield! Could you imagine these knuckleheads waving their little nazi flags at a performance of West Side Story?
I hate hatred. I find the profoundly illogical nature of hatred confusing and thereby frustrating.

In general I find it difficult to refer to people who do anything with a mask on as "men".

Thanked: 1903Well, German police would have had a ball...
Strafgesetzbuch § 86a - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The German Strafgesetzbuch in § 86a outlaws "use of symbols of unconstitutional organisations". This concerns Nazi symbolism in particular and is part of the denazification efforts following the fall of the Third Reich.
The law prohibits the distribution or public use of symbols of unconstitutional groups, in particular, flags, insignia, uniforms, slogans and forms of greeting.
Incidentally, none of the three flags is a "Nazi flag", cf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of...y#Nazi_Germany. The Sig runes never were a flag, as far as I know. The one in the middle is the 1933-1935 war ensign, if memory serves me right. The one on the left is the flag of the NSDAP (which might count as a "Nazi flag"). What a bunch of sad losers.Last edited by BeBerlin; 12-16-2009 at 12:21 AM.

I think the response of the community at hand was quite appropriate. Nothing to worry about. Somebody should have taken pictures of these buffoons, someone would have recognized them by their jeans, shoes, stance or something and then word would have got out.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
