#2 is there any type segregation in the states mentioned ? yes no
#3 was the kkk founded in TN ? yes no
#4 is there a history of the "clan" in any of the southern states ? yes no
If you answered no to any of the above questions , you need to give up you're studies and focus on driving

answers to your questions:
1. prejudice in the south, yes, just like there is in all states to some point
2. segregation, yes, same as all other states, even more in some northeastern and northern states.
3. KKK founded in TN, yes, has spread to all 50 states to some degree. in fact it is making a rebound now because of illegal immigration(california, texas seeing an upsurge in members)
4. clan history in the south, yes, same as other states!!

moreover there is hatred, bigotry, prejudice in every state of this nation. it is caused by IGNORANCE. we here in the south are very touchy, when being referred to as where "KKK runs rampant or full throttle" we have made great moves in ridding ourselves of this kind of idiotically driven thought. we are not a group of states with hatred running "full throttle" and being thought of by stereotypical prejudice from uniformed bigots and idiots from other areas of the UNITED STATES. we are a part of this great country with our faults just like every state with it's little "niches" and we deserve the same respect that we give to all other states without exception. my point remains, show me the town or city that blacks walk on the other side of the street than whites. if shown, i will work to rid that type of behavior from our presence and i will apologize. if it cannot be shown, then we expect and deserve a apology or an admission of prejudice and of being an outright liar.

you are so right bruno. but i as a proud southern man can't stand by and let our area of the country be slandered by someone with an agenda. who seems filled with venom for the south. i would expect any member of an area of states to feel the same if they were slammed with unproven vitriolic expressions....
