so it was discussed in a couple different threads but since it came out i haven't talked to anyone about it, nor seen any reviews. (if there is another thread out there please delete this one mods)

so was it good? too long? worth seeing in the theater? poor story line?

My family loved it. Enough action for the boys, enough of a love story type line for the ladies. Here are a couple of reviews that I pulled up online. It really is worth seeing

Excellent movie, but a touch too long (around 3 hours)

IT's one of those scenarios where removing scenes would make the movie worse/more obscure/less interesting, but if you don't remove them it's too long...

Lesser of two evils, leaving the movie long

    It was still AWESOME though.

Saw it in 3D and loved it. 3 hours? Come on. It feels like 1.

Thoroughly enchanting. The closest any movie has got to making me feel like I've been transported to another world. See it in 3D, ideally on an Imax screen.

My lady and I enjoyed it. IMAX 3D! Worth the $14 each, IMO.
