In the end it doesn't matter who wins because the folks in this country are just a bunch of spoiled whiners who want what they want and demand it now. So if they throw out the Dems because they couldn't produce fast enough and the Republicans win big the same will happen to them the next time around.

Maybe we should all be thinking down the road when this country breaks up into 3 or 4 separate countries what we will call them. I'm for calling the N.E the Republic of Freedonia Har Har.

What do I think it means if he takes the seat? Nothing. In the unlikely event of a Brown win, the Democrats already have plans to pass whatever it is they feel they can get away with. They don't care. This is Massachusetts, one of the most liberal states in the world. Just how "conservative" this Brown guy is will remain to be seen should he be elected. I'm pessimistic, to me all these Republicans are RINOs. Not a decent one in the bunch. Don't get me started on the Democrats. I'm a registered Independent.

America still hasn't learned to give a balance to both houses and not a super majority, i.e. the upstate New York Congressional races. In the rush to get Bush the hell out, we mistakenly put far too many Democrats in. Even I, a right wing nut job, don't want all these RINOs. Conservative Democrats are ok in my book, as well as Republicans. Show me a decent politician and I'll show you a crook.

There's still plans, even if Brown manages to win, on giving amnesty to illegals, cap and trade.......all the good leftist stuff that they plan on cramming down our throats. That one vote may give them filibuster power, but in the end, even if the writing on the wall is there, and even if they know they're going to lose their seats, they know that there will be no way that enough Republicans can possibly be elected to reverse any legislation that they approve of between now and January 2011.

My two cents. Great thread topic, J!

It's looking more likely... Brown is leading 53-46 with 65% of precincts reporting.

Granted that can change a lot with the remaining precincts...
