Thanked: 7It never rains in San Diego.
If you think that it never rains in San Diego you are wrong. Sometimes it pours. What is the first thing that comes to mind when it is dumping outside? Canoeing, of course. A picture doesn't do justice to the amazing amount of water flowing, and how fast we were going. My daughter went first.
I couldn't let her have all the fun.

Looks like fun, but is it not hard on that beauty of a canoe?

Yep. I'm in Hillcrest right now and about to head towards San Marcos and it is raining cats and dogs

Thanked: 7My daughter and I built it, so I figured we could fix any damage we do. The bottom has an epoxy, and graphite coating, and I was very surprised that we did no damage. I take this canoe out in the surf, and have had some pretty nasty wipe outs in it, so I figured a stroll down the street river couldn't do much more damage.
