Is this not the very definition of STUPIDITY?
So, Chris Matthews, to my mind has shown himself to be so unobjective it is no longer funny. First he gets a tingle up his leg for Obama and next he forgets that Obama is black for an hour. If he retains his job past the 2010 elections I will write off...never mind. I already wrote off MSNBC.
Anyways, here is the comment he made after the State of the Union address:

"I forgot he was Black" Now that quote can lead to so many interpretations, none of which are good.

Well, I can't watch the video, and I don't know who Chris Matthews is, but..."I forgot he was black"?!?

When you take things out of context and then hold it up to ridicule you can manipulate things any way you want.
For those who use this as just another way to bash those with differing views go back and read the whole thing.

Interesting how in the USA within my lifetime if you had a drop of black blood in your veins you were black. Now we have a man with a black father and a white mother and he is identified as black. Tiger Woods is not considered black in this day and age although he would have been fifty years ago. I am also intrigued by those black people who felt that President Obama wasn't black enough.
It all goes to show that we are still influenced to some extent by skin color. I hear that the younger generation doesn't draw the same distinctions between black, brown or white, straight or gay as their predecessors and in the near future there may be no distinction. Class OTOH will always be a divide. I still take pride in the fact that here in the USA today we have come far enough to have a majority vote for a man who happens to be multi racial.
