Thanked: 1That dogs cool, guy found him as a pup, no owner, so adopted him, full blood Rottie, and as friendly as a baby. Loves to play, pet, lousy guard dog. LOL
On the bike, give me modern technology over high cost old technology everytime. (I love Harleys, just don't love the price for 20 yr old technology)

Larry,
Thanks. Actually I don't fit that biker mold at all even though I rode like that. I look and act more like the old college proffesor......maybe in Anthropology or Ancient Studies.
I would love to try one of those slick "crotch rockets" though.
As for the safety of riding a raw machine, well guys, get your strops now just in case.

That really is a nice bike. I don't know if you'd find me on that sort of crotch rocket - I'd probably kill myself. And besides, when you're my size, you can't lean over the thing far enough. I'd seriously compromise its aerodynamics.
As for the Harley, though - that's a great machine. My kidneys probably wouldn't stand for the hard tail, but if I were ever crazy enough to buy a motorcycle, it'd have to be some kind of big "hog."
