Ok, didn't see one of these (didn't look too hard, but hey...) so I'd like to get one going.

Going to a friend of the family's home for the big game. We're bringing 7 layer dip with the usual prepared ingredients. But I wanted to share my ****tail weenie recipie. You'll need:

1 Crockpot
1 bottle of your favorite barbeque sauce
2 bay leaves
2 bags of Hillshire Farms Lil' Smokies (I prefer the cheddar), drained of water
3 small cloves of garlic
1 bottle of Tobasco
1 package of your favorite bacon
Pepper
Oregano
Dried onion
Ground Cayenne Pepper

Spread the two bags of franks evenly in the Crockpot. Cut up the cloves of garlic and throw them evenly into the pile. Add Tobasco first, then pepper, oregano, dried onion and Cayenne pepper to taste (paprika works, too). Add the bay leaves. Place 3-4 strips of bacon over the franks. Top the concoction with your barbeque sauce. Put the Crockpot on high until the BBQ sauce starts to boil on the edge, then set to low. Cooks in about 2-3 hours depending on the type of Crockpot you use.....the old style with the switch has a lower low temperature than the new style with the push buttons. Stir every hour, or if you like the smell as much as I do, every 15-30 minutes.

Two bags of franks not enough? Just double the recipe, create another layer and add about 1 hour of cooking time.

Please, share your favorites! I'd love to try making some of the stuff the other members like.
