I think what is written on Mrs. Palin's hand is:

    "Howdy neighbor"...

    in Russian.

    Energy
    (striked out) Budget Tax cuts
    Lift American Spirits

Aka what she would stand for if she ran for president... and she needed to write those three points on her hand.

On the other hand, looking at the money she made for the speech ($100K), I am starting to think I am in the wrong career path.

True, but I don't recall ever seeing a politician write notes on their hand before. I thought that went out in junior high school.

BTW, if you want a genuine answer, I'll have to vote for Palin. I don't agree with his politics, but I do think Obama is a good orator. Palin has yet to impress me. Honestly, it's beyond me how someone can get to a position of prominence as she has done and not be able to wing a question like what's your favorite newspaper or who's your favorite founding father. Come on!

Do you refute what I posted? If so on what grounds? Even the most ardent of Neo-Cons can't believe the man was a good speaker. And just for the record, I voted for that idiot... twice.
