Default Wolfman needs a straight razor

I just saw Wolfman, and in the hopes of saving you all some money, see it on DVD or not at all. The dialogue was poorly written. The top notch actors cast barely had a chance to do anything close to acting, and although Wolfman looked pretty cool and true to the original, you rarely see more then just a blur running through the trees.

The only thing I found intriguing about the film was thinking that Wolfman wouldn't be so angry and murderous if he used a straight razor. Heck, I can only imagine how much he's spending on cartridges shaving his wacky facial bush. The razor bumps/ burn alone would be enough to make me nuts.

That's interesting. I have seen the movie twice and I am looking forward to watching it again. I think it is a beautiful movie with great acting. I loved it. What I like best about Wolfman was everything I hated about Avatar. I thought the attention to detail was outstanding. There was one mistake regarding bullets that had the powder removed but other than that, watching that flick for me is like a trip through a Victorian museum.

I can see your point. The costume and set design was quite good. My biggest issue is firstly with Benicio Del Torro. I can't see him as anything else but finster from the usual suspects and the guy in the hunted.

Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite actors, but I felt like this role smothered his talents.

    Thats just me.

    Cool

I've always enjoyed the look of films depicting the Victorian era -- movies about Jack the Ripper, The Elephant Man, Jeckyll and Hyde, etc. On the other hand, this movie looks like it's all about the effects, and I've been a little put off by all the reviews I've read.

What's funny is that I recently wrote a review for the movie (I hadn't even seen it) and it won me two free movie passes. Ha!

Anyway, I'll either wait for it on DVD or just illegally download it.
