Boy do I agree with that, but I reach a different conclusion. We are paying for those folks already. I want a health care bill that will change it so we don't. I'm afraid if we don't do something, then that $300 will become $400 then $500 etc. I have friends that are saying screw it, no more insurance at these rates. As more and more do that, the price will continue to climb because the hospital is still treating the same number, but fewer are paying.Quote:

Thanks. All this time I've thought that normal people went through hard times -- now I'll sleep happy knowing that I shouldn't care about them because they're all just lazy.
PAY ATTENTION, where did i say the insurance company was not making money? if they did not make money they would not be in the business very long. it is a pool, that is what i said. we also get wellness rebates if we have not filed any claims. the premiums are based on all of the members health in the pool.Quote:

i know of no one and i mean "no one" that has ever been denied care if they take the time to look for and ask for help.
i have a friend who passed away last fall from cancer. he never paid for health care insurance his entire life. he said he did not need it. when he came down with cancer, he was given some of the best care available "FREE" from ST. THOMAS medical center and VANDERBILT medical center just for the asking. again there are many programs already in force for people who have no coverage. why do we need another gov't wasteful program?
one side note, name one government program here in the states that has not overrun its projected costs and is not in financial trouble.
Once we can get to rationing like many other countries, then we can get rid of many of those high risk sick people.
And of course the politicians can skim off (steal) even more money. :)

I hope you are never in a situation where you need help and every one around you is so superior they feel it's wrong to offer it. It is sad that people freeload, but it happens, ultimately how ever, you have to take the rough with the smooth in all things in life.Quote:

1. you too have missed my point as stated earlier. there is help for those that ask. those programs are paid for by my and others tax money. all you have to do is "ASK". i am not being superior, just saying that the programs already exist and why do we need another government run mess on our hands with cost overruns and waste.Quote:

can you please read my posts completely??? i said COLLEGE, not since kindergarten. quit trying to obfuscate everything. i could care less what you call BS. we took no aid at all, and all was paid without loans. we had the means to pay for it and worked our way through if more funds were needed. we are not beholding to anyone or anything.Quote:
