I keep hearing "Liberal Elitism" but have yet to notice it, unless it's when a liberal disagrees with someone and can't be persuaded to change their mind. Hmmm, come to think of it that could also be Conservative Elitism if the shoes on the other foot.
It exists on both sides of the political spectrum and is usually tossed about freely by the far right/left but not so much by us moderates in the center.

Meh. There's elitism all over. People think that their education, profession, income, ability or religion somehow makes them superior to others.
I just found it hilarious that they're asking how these collegiate liberal trends can be fixed.

Thanked: 431Since they have become places to generate money (i.e. a business) and their personal wealth, cut them off of the government / tax payer's teet forcing them to bring the obscene tuition under control and like any other business if you stink and your product stinks then you sink, making them performance based, right now they like any other government operation are not and therefore can and do waste with impunity.
Swim or sink.

Could you actually cite some examples and then explain how it's any different from the conservative elitists telling people that they cannot get married? Talk about people assuming they know how to run others' lives.
The dialog that I quoted from the video pretty much says that students are broken because they tend to support gay marriage. I think it's pretty elitist to say, "We're allowed to do this but you aren't because you're different."
