F1
With the new season only a few weeks away and testing already under way, Who`s started to get excited?
Personally i`m hoping that all the recent rule changes and keeping the car regs the same this season will give us a much closer season.
And of course with back to back world champs at mclaren its gotta go well for us

Thanked: 1262I used to go to the race in indianapolis every year. But bernie decided to remove all F1 races from north america and i just have not had the same interest since then.

To be fair though i`ve spoken to people who went to the Us races and the atmosphere was dead aparently most people were there for the support races, and to get drunk. and half the seats were empty.
Wen`t to silverstone last summer and that was awsome, a full 3 day party,

Thanked: 1262From what I remember. It was the biggest race(in terms of attendance). I could definately be wrong though. Indy is a massive track.
Most people do the lawn because it is a better view. We would always park ourselves at one of the turns.
I always like the Porsche races too though

You also get a new Us team this season supposedly.
so that could be somthing fo you to get behind,
And the past 2 or 3 seasons the racing really has improved ever since schuey left

I think this season should be really interesting, but if Mclaren is going to three peat it will have to be Hamilton, not Button. Personally, I like Massa or Alonso.
Of course, if Ross Brawn can put a competitive ride under Schumi, who knows?

I quit following it when the flying Scot, Jimmy Clark, was killed. As a kid Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Jack Brabham, were my heroes. On this side of the pond it was Fireball Robarts, Joe Weatherly and of course A.J. Foyt.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It will be interesting to see if schumi does well, However i don`t think he should have returned. He has already become a legend in his on life time, If he dosent win this season, he may ruin that,
On another note this season i have a conflict of interests, I`m a mclaren fan have been since i was a we nipper cheering on senna,
But i`m also a yorkshire man, And the new yorkshire based virgin team will also have my loyalty, lets hope there isn`t a case of a mclarren and a virgin (giggle) racing along side each other. or my head will explode.

I really do not understand why Schumacher came back. He has not much to win but much to loose.
I haven't watched F1 for few years now. I lost a bit of taste of it when Senna died, and finally i ended my F1 career at the same time as Mika Häkkinen: Häkkinen stopped driving F1 and i stopped watching him from TV.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
