Thanked: 11Finally got to shoot!
Ive been wanting a shot like this for a while, sadly only got the one because we were busy shooting all night. She's a very cool model and obliged when I asked her about this shot. Let me know what ya'll think. She's using a Dovo Perlex...

Thanked: 1371Nice picture. It's too bad that you weren't able to get a few more shots.
As a minor critique, it seems (IMO) that it would've been better if she were looking at the razor. It becomes only a minor focus point of the image. If she had been looking at it, my eyes would've been more drawn there, instead of from her eyes, to her tattoos, then to the razor.
Keep up the good work.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

A cool shot, indeed. I hope you are able to continue.
I would like to see the lather better (washed out - maybe my screen?). more of the razor/scales (so you can tell what it is), the model looking like she's into the shave (she looks unhappy, imo).
I agree, the arm tat is very eyecatching.

Thanked: 267I like her looking out because it looks like she is looking at someone that just walked in on her. Nice!

Nice pic.
I know we could discuss where she should look at and what expression would be better. There is just a minor technical detail that could be better imo: the way she is holding the blade.
The way her thumb and fingers are positioned really make it seem as if she is wiping the lather away with the blade instead of shaving. I mean it looks as is she is not moving the blade in the direction of the edge (as if she was shaving) but in the direction of the spine (kinda like how you strop a razor).Last edited by Bruno; 02-23-2010 at 10:35 AM.
