Default RIP Capt.Phil Harris of Deadliest Catch

I am a big fan of the t.v. series "Deadliest Catch" and was saddened to hear of the death of one of the captains,Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie ship.Phil apparently had a stroke but held on for a while. He is survived by his two sons Josh, and Jake, who were also on the show as two of Phil's deckhands.Though I am not naive enough to believe everything that happens on these semi-reality shows, this one is suspenseful because crab fishing in the Bering sea is THE most dangerous job on the planet.I find the show interesting and will miss Capt.Phil.

Found out later that the youngest boy,Jake, has been jailed for DUI and smashing up his deceased father's BMW.Guess he's not coping well with his grief.

Can't exactly blame him, it sounded like Phil was going to pull through there for a minute.

Yeah, Sunday I saw that they were having that tribute marathon thing on Discovery, wasnt aware he was dead until I saw that. I cant say I was really surprised after that nastiness with that blood clot he had in his lung. Its too bad, I pretty much liked him the most out of the captains. I am surprised he want back out to sea, I thought that he'd been ordered not to do that by his doctors.
