    I just checked CNN, they do not seem to have a lot of info yet, but it looks like the epicenter was far and deep enough to avoid tsunami. Also 53 miles away from the epicenter the magnitude would not be as high.
    Hopefully there will not be casualties.

    Thank you, Carrie, but seriously...does anyone know where it is? Cause it's not on the news here or anything...

    **EDIT**Just found it. Down by Okinawa. No reported injuries or damage, apart from 2 ruptured water mains. Good deal.

    There wasn't much on it at all when I posted, other than it was a 7.0 earthquake off Okinawa. It was rated higher than the one that devastated Haiti so I was a bit concerned for everyone there.

    I just read that there was about 8,8 Richter earthquake in Chile. Hope everyone there is well.
