That goal that tied it up scared the crap out of everybody, and at the end there it was anybody's game...but yeah, it's just nice to win in your home country, and to have the record number of gold medals on the board. I guess the Canadian in the 50km cross-country event earlier ended up in 5th place, but had he done those 50km 1 and 1/2 seconds faster, it would have been another gold. That's got to hurt.

Congrats on a great game and win. But I'm really gonna miss those lady Canadian curlers I hope they start to Televise that more in the states. Again a great hard fought victory.

The Canadians did a great job as hosts, and what a stellar Hockey Final. Congrats to the Canadians and the US for the most riveting hockey game that I've ever seen. Do I understand correctly that Canada set the record for most golds by a host country and the US won the most medals in winter Olympics history? North America was well represented, heh?

Well done! It was very interesting to someone from the Antipodes to see how well and with what skill people can slide around hitting each other while whacking a little disk.
If you were to just add beer, that description closely corresponds to air hockey night at my local pub!
