I have no clue what breeds they might be, but they are AS CUTE AS HELL!
Honestly, how could you not love those faces? I imagine they're providing you with tons of entertainment at that age.

    Yea, tons.

I now have to re-upolster an entire chair. I've had to treat all my phone chords and electrical chords with red pepper sauce to keep them from chewing through them. Because I don't want to walk around smelling like red-pepper I have to keep my shoes at elevations higher than 4 feet as they have become adept at jumping and pulling things off the edge of the table or other similarly situated shelving. They totally ignore the chew toys I got for them and chew everything they're NOT supposed to .

I get about 6 1/2 hours sleep a night and that's only because they fall asleep to the sleeping tape I made (initialy it was almost 8 hours but it's leveled at 6.5)

I've got bags under my eyes even worse than the allergies give and my children don't understand why I'm not more loving towards these cute little creatures.

The only comfort I got is that they learned really fast not to mess in the house after I started penning them in the cage.

I have to go for surgery next week and I'll be in rehab several months with little to no use of my arms so the children will get a taste of what I do every day with these "cutsies"

The Breed is without doubt "Mediterranian Ukaterian Terrier" = MUT

as for pit Bull, I wouldn't know ,its "illegal" for anyone to own one in south Florida due to all the attacks on people, but they do look like good fun pups!

    Exclamation Solutions, Not Band Aids

They just passed a similar law in Ontario despite SPCA assertions that the 'Dangerous Dog' legislation would cover how the animals are treated in many respects better than simply banning one breed. If the will is there to ceate vicious dogs for protection or for fighting, then a breed will be found.

I found this thread while browsing and had to chime in. I'm not sure how old it is.

That floppy-eared dog is not rottie or dobie, she's predominantly Black and Tan Coonhound! See the following:

    Enjoy them.

I'm assuming they're both related as I found them both at the same time, abandoned in the middle of nowhere, though it's possible they were just from 2 separate bitches that were born around the same time.

The coon hound would explain some of their behavior. That was a good pic though. Save the white chest it looks like an older version of emily.

Oh, and welcome to the SRP forum. Though you found the dogs while browsing, I do hope you browse the forum and perhaps become interested in shaving with a straight razor. It's a wonderful experience and I'd have to say that everyone on here has been absolutely wonderful people. Feel free to email me if you'd like. I'm happy to blabber on about how I found straight razors and this site. Lynn, the forum founder has been doing this for decades . This is a great bunch of folks.

I appreciate the welcome, Glen. I'm a regular over at ShaveMyFace.com, and went back to revisit straight razor shaving about a month ago (gave it an unsuccessful whirl about 10 years ago.) I picked up a well honed Heinkels from an SMF member. Having quite a bit of fun with it, this time around.

I'm just trying to come up to speed here before I jump in with both feet.

    Dogs, on the other hand...

I've had two rotties; absolutely wonderful dogs. They are as kind as they are treated. My first, Caesar, was the gentlest dog I've ever encountered.

Again, all the best with your pups. Hopefully they become a treasured part of your family.

    Regards,
    Robert

    Default Webbed Feet?

Someone was telling me that golden retrievers and other "bird dogs" have "webbed feet" to aid in their swimming.

I checked my golden retriever and saw that the digits are indeed "webbed" or connected all the way up to the pad with a layer of skin.

Then I checked these two pups and both have this.

On a whim I checked my manx cat (which has 6 digits on each foot) and it was the same.

So, is the "webbed feet" thing a wives tale or is there something to this that helps me determine the exact heritage of these mutts?

    Thanks.

The labrador retriever also has webbed paws. They could be part lab.
