Which Version of Sweet Jane do you like?
It's tough for me, because I really like the beat and the lyrics and all of the versions, but I think Mott the Hoople's version is the most infectious. I think it's one of the few pop / rock tunes that has been recorded in different sounds and by different bands that deserves a little recognition. In any event, thanks Lou Reed for writing it originally. My thought of the day! Thanks for reading.

I gotta go with VU. The original song by the original artist in that case. Cool song.
Chris L"Blues fallin' down like hail." Robert Johnson
"Aw, Pretty Boy, can't you show me nuthin but surrender?" Patti Smith

Personally, I think Lou Reed was kicking out some of the best rock and roll in the early to mid '70's.
Dig that intro.
Just crank it .. you know you want to !!
