    Default R.I.P. Robert Culp, Actor

Robert Culp was an actor whose performances I always enjoyed. He wasn't Lawrence Olivier but in the roles he portrayed I thought he was an excellent performer. I remember him in I Spy along with Bill Cosby of course, and in a few episodes of Columbo. I heard on the radio today that at 79 he fell and struck his head on the sidewalk. Rushed to the hospital he died this afternoon.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

being 39, my first exposure to Mr. Culp was on The Greatest American Hero.

It was only years later I would see his I Spy work.

He had a wester series on TV called "Trackdown". It was a good show.

He had a reputation as a Good Guy.

    May he RIP.

I remember watching Trackdown as a kid. It wasn't until years after seeing him in I Spy and The Greatest American Hero that I realized who starred. A fine actor.

I first saw him in I Spy as a kid and always enjoyed his take on other roles over the years. Never heard anything controversial about him either...probably one of those rare Hollywood types that anyone here would enjoy a beer and bull session with.

R.I.P. and blessings to his family and friends.
