    Default Friggin' Yahoo

I've got a really nice knife up for sale on Knifeforums. A guy sends me an email saying he wants it (it's a helluva good price for this one). I respond. 15 times. He gets maybe one of them. I have no idea where my emails are going, but Yahoo is pissing me off. I'm trying to get the payment worked out before Friday, because I have to go on a business trip Saturday, and really need the money (otherwise, believe me, I wouldn't be selling this knife). Nothing ever goes wrong until you need it to go right.

if the problem is your yahoo mail account i could send you a gmail account invitation, it's nice in that it keeps your correspondence threaded, id imagine this would be even better if you're selling things to different people so you dont have to track down where things stand by going through your entire inbox. if you're interested just PM a current email address and i'll try to send the invite

I'm not sure what's going on. Usually, if the mail doesn't go through I get a delivery failure notice from Yahoo. I'm wondering if it's not going to his spam folder. I posted on there for him to check that. I'd hate to sell it out from underneath him, but if I don't hear something from him PDQ, I'm gonna.

yeah id imagine it's in his bulk folder(especially if the subject was something like RE- knife sale), i also use yahoo mail a lot and never have problems though some things that are not spam some times end up in my spam folder.

the one thing that keeps me using yahoo a ton is the "my yahoo" feature, it's my home page... email, weather, maps, news headlines from 2 NYC papers and the AP, espn headlines and news and schedules on my favorite sports team all on the one custom page, i do love that

With Yahoo, it could be going straight into the Trash folder. I have had that happen with email from people who are in my address book.

Like I said, nothing ever goes wrong until you need it to go right.

I quit using Yahoo for reliable e-mails because their aggressive spam filters kept filtering out legitimate mail.

I sent it through my Outlook Express, too. I'm thinking it's on his end, but that doesn't do me any good. Homey gotsta get paid.

Finally got an email from another buyer. Problem taken care of.
