Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanks. I did realize that
My point, I guess, was best made by you yourself in an answer to Holli4pirating earlier in the thread:
And fun it was.
I spent quite a bit of time today checking out a few of the belief systems listed after my test. A few of them I didn't know all that much about.
Interesting read, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Thanks for posting it.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

First time I did it, I would agree with some of the sentiments here. Poor questioning, limited number of questions etc.
But I do think it shows that one's beliefs may not mesh 100% with their current denomination.
I've taken the test a few times over the past 6 months. Each time I get a different top 5 but a consistent botton 5. There is a commonality that I see Judaism, Hinduism and New Age appearing near the top often.

Birnando,
I've done this one a few times over the years and always seem to get very similar results with Orthodox Quaker in the top two every time. The problem is it will also list belief systems I disagree with very near the top. It seems to weigh firmness of conviction as high or higher than the actual beliefs themselves.
If you have any real conservative or fundamental views it will place you in groups with similar conservative convictions, even if their doctrine is 180 degrees from yours. This is not the place to argue denominations but you would find some rather large differences between the groups listed in my own top 8 catagories.
The top answer for me each time is not too far from where I am anyway.
Most people tend to become whatever their parents were and what they were raised as, not realizing that what is in their hearts, or where they are guided may be completely different. The questions posed in the sample test may show that there are other beliefs you are more closely aligned with but never thought about.

The test gave me a long list with Orthidox Quacker (100%), Orthidox Jew (99%) and Roman Catholic, the religion of my childhood at 52%. After taking this quiz it reinforced my belief that no one religion, christian or otherwise, has the complete answer.
