Thanked: 234Last day in the UK for a while
Today is my last day at home until early August. I fly to the states tomorrow afternoon, for 3 months hard work in the national parks in and around Az.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep you updated, if you're interested. I'm hoping keeping various fora updated will force me to keep a record of my trip and take pictures. It should be an interesting summer.
I'll be taking my Dovo, so I might be coming on here asking for an emergency honing if I ding it or something! Or perhaps if I pick up a back up razor out there, here's hoping I can find one of those elusive W&B cleavers - who knows.
Take it easy guys,
Greg

Thanked: 995There are some real pretty pieces of ground where you're going. Drink plenty of water.

If you work anywhere near Tucson, please PM me for a meet, emergency honing, etc. I travel frequently but am around town the majority of the time. Plan on drinking PLENTY of water, the "warm" season is just starting!

Arizona ? If you speak with an accent make sure you have your visa ..... I'd hate to see you arrested and deported. Have a great time on your assignment Greg.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Don't be shocked at seeing a people wearing holstered sidearms from time to time in stores; open carry is legal without a permit in AZ. My wife got very alarmed seeing gun toting Arizonans in Bed Bath and Beyond and on city buses when we first moved to Tucson from California. AZ welcomes all legal and peacable immigrants!
