So sorry to hear this.
To me it was first Easy Rider and later, as i grew up, Apocalypse.now, Blue Velvet and Indian Runner were movies that he really made unforgettable roles. Something deep. I haven't seen all his movies but i always thought that the man must be sort of genius in the world where the difference between genius and madness is really thin. The world now is little less without him.
May the dust lie lightly over your grave, mr Hopper.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Dennis Hopper . . .
Gentlemen:
Dennis Hopper was one of Hollywood's most versatile character actors. Only a handful of supporting actors came anywhere near his talent. May he rest in peace.

Thanked: 1195RIP Dennis.
Yes, he was batshit crazy, and burned his candle from both ends. But to me he will always be Captain America's road mate, Billy.
Now I think I'm going to fire up the record player and put on an album by The Band.....

The world just got a little less interesting, a little more square, and a little less entertaining.
He'll be missed. Truly one of the greats.
RIP.

Sad to hear about this.I can remember him from as far back as Bonanza and Gunsmoke and even in small roles,he lit up the screen with his edgy,nervous,near-crazy persona.
