Facial hair loss
I recently have noticed loss of hair on my right cheek. A circle the size of a dime now and a few squiggly lines start off from there that look like some one was tracing a map on my face. The condition is called ALOPECIA. I had this under my chin about six or seven years ago and a dermatologist helped me with it. He gave my a series of shots on the effected area over the course of a few weeks and the hair came back. Now this, i am worrying about it because the Dr. told me last time that the treatment does not always work. I made an appointment to see him again but wanted to ask if any one else here has had any experience with this?

There is a patch under my chin where only a couple of hairs grow.
Since the idea is to shave everything off, I don't really care.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Only part that grown hair on my face is around my mouth and chin... Cheeks are pretty much bare...

Thanked: 235I remember when I was younger my parents had a friend, who worked in the same industry as my parents, who suffered from something similar. He had a full beard, which itched and his facial hair was falling out. I seem to remember someone saying it was something to do with stress.
It wasn't long after this I heard he went to jail because he had been caught stealing millions of dollars from a major Melbourne cemetery, some of which was going to his mistress.
That could have been the cause of his stress.

Thanked: 30I am a Native American and because of my genes my facial hair does not fill in completely so I too get patches that dont fill in. Good luck with your condition.
