    Default Inverse Karma

Has anyone else here ever experienced what I like to call inverse Karma? For those who haven't figured it out this is a theory of mine; (yes it is a loose theory) where when someone has a good day Karma comes in and kicks that person down. The amount of kick is directly variable to the amount of joy felt.
I have like many have observed this phenomena. I actually live by it. How? By spending much of my life attempting to not enjoy things. No I'm not looking for pity. Its actually a nice surprise when things do go well.
Recently though good things have been happening. A lot. Yet no return on investment. I was even sure that this morning everything would go awry. It didn't so I thought "great, let's enjoy this." Today I ordered another bomb from Al. Had a nice day off. Talked with friends. Blah, blah, blah. Came home. Hot house. AC? Turned on. Breaker? Hey, what's that smell? my AC had caught fire! Fire was contained, but tomorrow is going to be the first really hot day of our summer. Btw yes there are deserts in the state of Washington.
Thank you inverse Karma for putting me in my place.

Well I understand your logic. I follow the same loose theory, though not always. But in any case, here is a pat on the back from Illinois.

Well thank you. I am glad to know that others have observed this. The pat is appreciated, but more so is the knowledge that others live by this.

Inverse Karma sounds like a complicated way to describe normal everyday life.

Thats a real bummer about your a/c. Down here in Florida, the a/c is not a luxury its a necessity. I hope it was only a window unit and not central air. My dad always told me "free your mind and your butt will follow".
