Some months ago I scored 6 Genco Fluid Steels in minty condition off of the bay. They were out of a barber's estate and coming to FL from Maine or somewhere up that way IIRC. So the guy sent them in a used priority box and forgot to take his own address off of the opposite side. I watched the tracking and they got to Jacksonville,FL. The following day they were on their way back to the shipper. What a PITA. Finally got them though and they were worth the wait. Hang in there Dylan, I know the feeling.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I am right there with ya. I had ordered some soap samples from TGQ on Monday and today is Sunday with no other information than the shipper has contacted the post office or some such s*&^. I was hoping to do a test shave with one of them for Fathers Day but nope.

I think I should take a box and mark it with 4 different addresses and postages. Then we can see where it goes.

I fought long and hard to get a HandAmerican "Chicago Special"

I get the email that the label had been printed and electronic shipping info had been received. It stayed like that for 5 days and I emailed the company about it and he assured me that it had been shipped. I was nervous after reading of some other members dealing with this company. I got it the next day and the tracking still stayed the same.

And yet, in my experience, when it gets to you USPS has much, MUCH better chances of getting it to you in one piece, undamaged. I can't think of the last time I or our business got a package from UPS that wasn't damaged in some way.

A while back before cell phones did every thing except your laundry I had orded a PDA that I had shopped around for and wanted for over a year. I am sitting around waiting for it to arrive checking UPS tracking all day like you are and it's getting late. I'm not going out of town few days and want to be able to use it that week for a seminar I'm going to I know it should get there that night but it's taking forever. I refresh to check the progress again and it says that the package is on the way back to the hub because no one was home and it's a signature required package. I'm sitting in my %&%$ living room waiting for the package all day how do they figure I'm not home. So I call up customer service talk to 3-4 people till I get the right person to deal with on the line explain the situation and the Lady actually calls the driver and makes him turn around and deliver the package he never even knocked on the door or rang the door bell.
She was a great worker for fixing the problem. I never saw that UPS driver again and I used to get allot of UPS deliveries.
