Useful plugin for ebay
Ever get those pictures where you can't just see enough detail? I found a really useful Firefox plugin called Reveal that, amongst other things, allows you to triple click on a blank spot to bring up a magnifying lens. If you have a scroll wheel you can zoom in and out of the image to get the detail you want. Just thought I'd pass this along.

The thing about digital pictures is the pixels. If the picture doesn't show enough a magnifying software suite that "enlarges" the "details" only does the same thing as digital zoom. It increases the size of the pixels. A 2x pixel of a poorly photographed area doesn't give any true detail just a misconception. Occasionally you can catch something that missed your eye with these but most usually what you don't see in the pictures you won't see until you get it in front of you. It doesn't give you a true magnification of the actual item.

You can't rescale up a picture, and get more detail, but you can get your favorite image editing program, and try to adjust 1. Sharpness, and 2. Brightness/Contrast... This will help you get the details... But on most of the pics, just use your judgement, and some common sence, and you'll be fine...

I am a big firefox fan and this plug-in works very nice. Thanks for the tip. Glen
