    Have you thought of a postgrad degree such as a PGD or a masters? It may be possible for you to transfer to a different carreer path.

    Yeah I was thinking about that, and there are some folk from my institution who have done that into say, law.

    But I've been researching about the procedures for this, and I actually can't find anything where you can go take a masters in something else. Going to carry on looking though.

    There are so many people leaving university in the UK with degrees in the arts and humanities that many will need to retrain at some point to get a well paid job.
    There is always going to be a shortage of good people to fill positions in engineering and construction.
