Thread: just missed out

Hope this is the right forum

So a few months ago a second hand shop opened up, its on my way to the supermarket no 1/2 a mile from where i live, so today i popped in to inquire about any razors they might have.
The owner tells me he just got rid of a box full of razor paraphernalia, from a retired barber, cabinet and all. Bummer.
However he sold the lot to the young barber who just so happens to have the shop next door. So i pop in for a chat, he's got all the stuff he picked up still at home, and we've arraigned to meet up tomorrow at his shop so i can take a look at the things he's scored. He was very surprised to meet someone else interested in straight razors too and told me he was just getting into them himself.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow if there's any really nice ones in there

Well i popped over today, he was quite busy so i didn't have time to look at all the razors he'd found, so here are a few that i did see.

1- Bengall in decent condition
2- Unknown unmarked
3,4 - John Engstrom (sic?)
5,6- Lockwood Sheffield
7,8- Read
9- Unknown

He did say that there was also a nice Wade & Butcher but that was in another sandwich box
