    Be sure to read before watching....

    Out of curiosity, where did you find the information on the target type and distance? I didn't see it on the youtube page...

    Accidents happen at the gun range all the time. Often times because people don't take gun handling seriously and sometimes because once that projectile leaves the barrel you never really know where it's gonna wind up.

    The info was in the email I received with the link to youtube.
    I also wondered about the distance.

    Not super scientific but:

    It takes about 2 seconds to cover 6000 ft (there and back) so the round would be traveling about 3000 fps which (according to Ammo Guide) is about right for many of the different 50 cal BMG rounds for which they have data.

    Lots of NRG in those rounds.
